In GCC, every child is showered with lots of love and
care, giving them the best environment to grow into
confident and loving individuals. They are well nurtured academically, socially and spiritually with great
emphasis towards shaping their character.

Home Visitation

As and when necessary, our GCC Group of Schools teachers would make house calls as part of our concern on children's well being. Be it health, homework or other attention arises. During the house call, teachers and parents are able to build rapport for better understanding of the child's behavior and background.

With the love and care from the teachers and parents, children will feel being loved and excel better.

"Children don't care how much you know until they know how much you care."

Writen Assesment

The First Term has passed and our children had taken their first Written Assessment at the end of May. After many months in school, children have improved in terms of character and academic. Children are able to understand the concepts taught in school and work independently.

According to our statistics for the first Written Assessment, the children did very well. We want to thank all parents for the partnership.

We believe our children can do even better this Second Term.

Field Trips

Wow! Month of April was a memorable one for our preschoolers. Our first field trip for the Year 4 children, was a visit to the largest covered bird park in the world. Children were very excited as different kind of birds were flying and walking around them. Children were happy and sang as they walked along together with our teachers and parents.

As for the Year 5 children they visited the National Planetarium which is located in Perdana Lake Garden. Children were exposed to the outer space equipment, while being toured around the exhibition gallery. They had a wonderful time in doing the art and craft on solar system.

Last but not least, Year 6 children visited the Balai Bomba in Wangsa Maju. Children were taught about the fire safety and awareness of the danger of fire. All of them were so excited. Not only they had the opportunity to put on the fire jacket with helmet, but also the rescue jacket for the emergency purpose. They even experienced climbing up the fire engine and being taught how to hold the hose in putting out fire. Children had been instilled lots of educational knowledge during this field trip.

Revision Cards

Good News! Since the launch of Revision Cards program in the Mid-April 2010, children are able to do revision at home with their parents. In just a short time, children are able to read lots more vocabulary in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese. Not forgetting our Numbers concepts and Phonics Blends.

The hard work and extra effort put in by our teachers are worthwhile. On behalf of the school, thank you for spending time with your children in doing the revision together.
